It has been reported that singer and actor Lee Seung-gi (37) purchased land measuring approximately 618 m2 (187 pyeong) in Jangchung-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul for 9.4 billion won.
The land in Jangchung-dong purchased by Seung-gi Lee was previously used as a single-family home site, but the home was demolished after ownership was transferred to a restaurant company in 2012.
Since then, the land has been abandoned as an empty lot, and at the end of last year, the Cultural Heritage Committee decided to permit the use of part of the land except the base of the fortress wall.
Seung-gi Lee married actress Lee Da-in, the second daughter of Gyeon Mi-ri, in April last year and currently has one daughter.
