Sagan confessed, “The unrealistic reality is still passing by,” and sadly talked about the situation in which she had to celebrate her wedding anniversary without her husband, buy cakes for her children’s birthdays, and prepare flowers for graduation ceremonies.
She also thanked the people who found her husband and called the ambulance, the paramedics, and the hospital staff, saying, "I still feel sick when I think about that day, but I am truly grateful."
Sagan said that even in her grief over losing her husband, she is gaining strength from the comfort and support of many people.
“So that I can laugh no matter who comes,” she said, and expressed her affection for her husband, “He is my husband, the father of my children, whom I hated but could not hate, the only man who knows my secret that no one else knows, and my friend of 20 years.”
