MBC <True Story Exploration Team> ‘Domestic violence’...an unbreakable bond

Last year, in the early morning on Christmas Eve, three elderly people died simultaneously in a public bathhouse in Sejong City.

The three people were regulars who visited the bathhouse every Sunday.

As a result of confirmation, the bathroom in question was judged to be suitable in a safety inspection conducted by the Electrical Safety Corporation six months ago.

A site inspection participant and a bathhouse equipment expert whom the production team had difficulty meeting raised the hypothesis that 'this' in the old bathhouse may have been the problem.

As electric shock accidents continued, the installation of high-sensitivity circuit breakers in bathrooms became legally mandatory in 2003.

However, the problem is that bathrooms that are small in size or built before the enactment of the law are not required to install circuit breakers, so the risk of electric leakage is bound to be high.

In fact, there were three bathroom electrocution accidents that occurred last year, resulting in a total of six deaths.
