Oh Jae-won indicted on drug use charges

Oh Jae-won (39), a former professional baseball player on the national team, was arrested and indicted on charges of drug use.

Mr. Oh is also accused of destroying an acquaintance's cell phone and grabbing him by the collar and threatening him when the acquaintance said he would report drug use to the police in December of last year.

At the time, Mr. Oh strongly denied the charges, and a simple drug reagent test was negative.

However, the police obtained additional evidence of Mr. Oh's drug use, issued an arrest warrant, and arrested Mr. Oh on the 19th of last month.
