Every winter, Geoje Opo Port is busy with Daegu fishing.

Only two months a year, Daegu returns to offshore Geoje due to the spawning season, so Oepo Port is regarded as the country's first home for 30% of Daegu's shipments.

Daegu, a migratory fish, lives deep in the cold waters of the North Pacific and returns to the clear sea of ​​Jinje Bay from December to early February.

Oepo Port is home to Daegu's birth and return.

Of course, the huge mouth of the large and mouthpiece, Geoje Daegu, boasting a maximum size of 1m, is the pride of Hyopo Port and Hyoja.

Until now, Daegu became a symbol of Oepo Port, and there were fishermen's efforts to protect nature.

As a result, in the 90s, they faced the era of Geumdaegu, which costs 30 to 400,000 won per animal.

In 1987, fishermen carried out a discharge project with the Geojesu Gorge to follow the providence of nature.
